There is an on-site shop in the reception building.  It is well stocked with general groceries, bread, milk, newspapers, toys, postcards, stamps and off-license goods.
The shop opens for the peak season at the end of May (Springbank holiday) and closes in early September.
Opening hours may vary, but are usually 8.30am to 11am and 2:00pm to 8:00pm 7 days a week. On busy days in peak season the shop will be open from 8.30am to 8.00pm.

For the 2016 season, our water system throughout the whole site was fully replaced with a state-of-the-art filtration system to ensure a continuous supply of top quality drinking water.

There are 3 toilet/shower blocks. The two largest blocks were fully refurbished in 2014. The smaller block has also now been fully refurbished at the start of 2017. There is no charge for the use of showers. Outside each toilet block is a dishwashing area and drinking water supplies. There is a bin area outside each block also. For photographs of the new facilities please see here.

New for 2017 Superfast outdoor WiFi network provided by BoB Broadband.

Dogs are very welcome, but we ask that they are kept on the lead whilst on the park.  A wooded hillside next to the touring and tent fields has been set aside as a dog walking area.

We provide a gas hob for cooking, a microwave, a freezer to store ice-packs, and shelter. There are no dishwashing sinks in the campers kitchen but a dishwashing area is located just across the driveway behind the reception building.

A games room with a pool table and football table is available for all guests to use. The pool table and football table both take 1 x 50p coin per game.

A vending machine for hot drinks is provided in the laundry room at the back of the reception building. Picnic tables are provided outside the reception/shop building on our decking area so that you can sit with a drink and enjoy the view.

Washing machine and tumble dryer are available for guests. The washing machine takes £3 in pound coins. The tumble dryer takes 50p coins. 50p will last for 15 minutes.

We have swings available for the children.  The swings are located in a fenced area between the main touring field and main tent field.

Visitors are welcome to use barbecues on the site. We ask that you use bricks (which we provide) to raise your barbecue off the grass if it is a disposable barbecue without legs.  The bricks can be found outside each toilet/shower block and we ask that you please return them after use.

For large groups who have pre-booked one of our group camping areas we have a very large charcoal barbecue which you are welcome to use. You will need to provide your own charcoal. Please let us know in advance if you would like us to reserve the barbecue for you. There is no additional charge for this facility.

If you are not using an electric hook up on your pitch but would like to be able to charge a mobile phone, laptop, tablet, or camera battery, please ask in reception. We can charge your devices for you and we have plenty of European adaptors. Please bring your own charger with you. There is a charge of 50p per item for this facility.

We recommend Lorn Taxis for our visitors to use during their stay at Oban Caravan & Camping Park. Their telephone number is 01631 564744. A payphone is provided behind the reception building if you would like to call your own taxi. Alternatively please call in at reception and we will be happy to book a taxi for you.

There are many interesting trips and tours available in the Oban area. We have many leaflets about trips and tours available in the local area.  If you would like any help with choosing a day trip, or if you require assistance with making a booking please ask in reception and we will be happy to help you.
