Static Caravans, Lodge and Camping Pods - How to book and Conditions of Hire
How to Book:
Bookings can be made provisionally by telephone on 01631 562425. We will confirm your booking by email on receipt of a £100.00 deposit per unit booked per week. For camping pod hire full payment is required at the time of booking.
We can no longer accept Cheques.
Credit/Debit card payments are welcome. We ask that you pay by card over the telephone. There is no surcharge for paying by card.
The balance of payment for static caravan and lodge hire is due six weeks before the start of your holiday. Please telephone to pay your balance on or before the due date.
On receipt of your balance you will be sent a confirmation of balance payment by email. Please bring this with you to show on arrival. Please read thoroughly any information sent to you.
Period of Hire:
The period of hire for static caravans and lodges is from 4:00pm on the day of arrival until 9:30am on the day of departure. We will quote for other periods of hire, e.g. weekends and extra days, according to caravan availability. For camping pod hire, your pod will be available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival until 10.00am on the day of departure. Please do not arrive before the time stated on your confirmation email, unless this has been arranged with us in advance. Each unit has to be cleaned and prepared for your arrival and we don't want you to have to wait while your accommodation is prepared for you.
The company reserves the right to refuse to hand over a caravan/lodge/pod to any person, who, in the opinion of the Company, is not suitable to take charge. In such cases all letting charges paid will be refunded in full and all liability of the visitor and the Company shall thereupon cease. The Company also reserves the right to decline any booking without giving any reason. The Company reserves the right to repossess accommodation from unsuitable visitors. If accommodation is repossessed then no refund will be given. Visitors are requested to avoid excessive noise at all times, being quiet between 11pm and 7am. Those who do not comply will be asked to leave the site. If this occurs, no refunds will be given.
For static caravans, lodges and our Farm Cottage - In the event of a cancellation by a visitor, the deposit will be forfeit. If the visitor gives less than 6 weeks notice of cancellation, the deposit is forfeit and if the caravan remains unlet, the visitor will be liable for the balance of the rent due, in accordance with accepted practice. For camping pod cancellation - More than 6 weeks notice and a 90% refund will be given. If less than 6 weeks notice is given, then no refund will be given. The Company advises that prospective visitors arrange appropriate insurance. Your local broker will advise.
The Company and its employees accept no liability for loss or damage to visitors' property, nor for any accident or mishap to persons while on the premises.
Visitors shall maintain the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition and be responsible for the maintenance of the contents. Any breakages must be reported to reception as soon as possible. Smoking is not permitted in any self-catering unit. A charge will be made if the accommodation is not left in a clean and tidy condition or if people have been smoking in the accommodation. Pets must not be permitted to sit/lie on the furniture in any of the self catering units including the camping pods. Caravans, Lodges and Pods may only be occupied by the person who made the original booking and the people declared at the time of booking. Bookings are not transferrable to other people.
Any over occupancy of the unit booked will result in termination of your booking immediately. In an 8 berth unit there will be a maximum of 8 persons. In a 6 berth unit there will be a maximum of 6 persons.
